Tolan refreshes brand with new characters and onboarding alongside funding news
danshipper · x · 2026-10-20
Tolan co-founder Ajay Mehta announced a brand glow-up after a year-plus of work: new characters, new onboarding and more, released alongside the startup's funding round led by USV. The team is also hiring for people who want to build AI that helps everyone become who they're trying to be.
The product philosophy, as articulated by Quinten Farmer: Tolan is not an assistant that books restaurant reservations, but an AI that shows up at 3am with a newborn or on an anxious commute — targeting users who want to feel seen rather than optimized.
