Dev shares single-session subagent workflow: parallel worktrees, HTML before/after reviews
AccBalanced · x · 2026-10-20
Developer thdxr describes his desktop app workflow: one pinned "gooey" session dispatches all real work to subagents. He continuously feeds it ideas and fixes, and it spins off subagents — in separate worktrees for complex changes — to implement them in parallel.
Subagents open HTML documents with screenshots to communicate before/after states and offer options to pick. Since much runs in parallel, he often asks "what do you need from me" to get a list of changes ready for review. Screenshots show OpenCode running 3 subagents plus a shell, and a mockup document presenting two design variants of a settings page.
