Open-source agent workspace Busabase adds team roles and work auditing
PrajwalTomar_ · x · 2026-10-20
Busabase founder Prajwal Tomar unveiled team features for his open-source database and workspace for AI agents: READ / PROPOSE / WRITE / REVIEW roles that govern what humans and connected agents can do, so founders can step back from micro-decisions.
- Busabase lets agent output persist as reusable data, docs, skills, and apps; it works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and more
- Team Insights in the Cloud records what changed (changes, proposals, reviews), who did it (named human/agent sources), and daily proposal trends — e.g., an agent pulling a $6.50 price from a Products base to schedule nine social posts
- Available as Cloud or local desktop app, with data staying local on desktop
