Tolan, an emotional-companion AI app, has raised another $30M a year after launch. The team frames it as AI that "sees you and believes in you," not a productivity tool — users open it for late-night feedings, anxious commutes, or just to chat about a new show.
Its core users are parents and caregivers who want to feel supported rather than optimized. More than 250K people will spend time with their Tolan this month, having exchanged billions of messages.
