PSMcpServer turns any PowerShell script into a live MCP tool just by dropping it in a folder
dfinke · x · 2026-10-20
Doug Finke (16x Microsoft MVP) will demo PSMcpServer, a native PowerShell streamable-HTTP MCP server: drop a script in a folder and it appears as a chat tool seconds later, no restart or glue code. With -Watch, tool lists update live as scripts change. Also covers piping Get-Command to generate tool configs, rendering sortable tables/forms in chat, agents extending their own toolbox mid-session, and using AI with computer use to debug the hardest bug.
