Anthropic prepping new model with big reasoning jump that infers your unstated goals
kimmonismus · x · 2026-10-19
Per The Information, Anthropic is preparing to release new model(s). An anonymous tester says the unreleased model is notably better at reasoning and intuition than any commercially available Anthropic model, and especially good at discerning users' underlying intentions and goals even when not explicitly stated. One cited example: asked to fix a single bug, it identifies the broader class of problems behind it and asks whether to address those too. Model family and release date remain unclear; the account comes from a single anonymous tester.
