altryne · x · 2026-10-19
- A verified X account impersonating Elizabeth Holmes has been DMing multiple tech figures, praising a product launch and saying it "would love to have one in our home."

- Nikita Bier replied "I was catfished too. She told me to visit her," turning the incident into an industry running joke — and a reminder that verified badges don't guarantee identity.
