Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark said that, combined with prior commitments, roughly 20% of all Anthropic equity will be dedicated to the public good, funding efforts to share AI's benefits more widely and to address AI risks — with the share potentially growing.
David Sacks quote-boosted the post with a jab: "You've put 20% of your equity in an LLC. Whether it serves the public good remains to be seen," targeting Anthropic's PBC-plus-LLC governance structure.
