- Researcher Quentin Kaiser demonstrated a wormable, over-the-air RCE in Broadcom Wi-Fi chipsets: anyone in radio range can run code on affected routers without knowing the password.
- He showed the exploit working on Proximus, Orange Belgium, and VOO routers, estimating 1.5 million devices exposed in Belgium alone — none patched.
- The bug dates back to 2010, and Broadcom has declined to assign a CVE, drawing criticism of the vendor's vulnerability handling.
