'Hallucinations are solved': Claude misidentifies movie still as Spielberg's A.I. in viral fail

Blogger teortaxesTex posted a sarcastic "hallucinations are solved" alongside a Claude (Opus 5.5) conversation log:
- The setup was a dark joke that Chinese-language KOL Twitter is so saturated with AI bot accounts that low P(doom) opinions may not come from real humans, illustrated with a movie still of a boy holding a teddy bear.
- Claude confidently identified it as David and Teddy from Spielberg's A.I. Artificial Intelligence and wrote a long, layered analysis of the joke's meaning.
- The user corrected it: the still is from Screamers (1995), based on Philip K. Dick's "Second Variety." Claude admitted it jumped to the most famous match, then reinterpreted the joke — the film is about machines infiltrating humanity undetected, which fits the "KOLs are all bots" gag even better.
The poster's own display name includes "DeepSeek hardcore fan," making the whole fail a fitting rebuttal to claims that hallucination is solved.
