Anthropic announced the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a wholly owned entity starting with 5% of its shares, with up to 2% more added per 50% valuation increase over a baseline — roughly 20% of shares committed to public good overall. Co-founders pledged 80% of their equity, and about half of employees join a donation-matching program. A commenter pegs the commitment at $100bn, about half the present value of the OpenAI Foundation.
