Yann LeCun and Elon Musk traded physics-trolled jabs on X. Responding to a compressed-air car idea, LeCun ran the numbers: even with 50% of the car's mass as compressed air, specific impulse under 50 seconds yields less than 10s of useful thrust. Musk replied "I fart in your general direction," and LeCun upsized it: your car is powered by exactly that—a 700-bar, 600-liter, 3-second, noisy fart, hopefully minus the methane.
