Joseph Jacks announced the launch of for-profit lab Quantum Life Technologies (QLT), co-founded with Stuart Hameroff and Jack Tuszynski, plus founding scientists Daniel Lanino and Natasha Cg14.
QLT shares no specifics but claims its mission is to fundamentally change how AI software and hardware are delivered, raising computational capability and efficiency simultaneously "by many orders of magnitude" by learning from nature and biology. The lab is hiring; observers are skeptical.
