Melony: a free frontend/auth layer for Claude Managed Agents, built almost entirely by Claude
DarasStayHome · reddit · 2026-10-19
A Reddit developer argues Anthropic's Managed Agents are underrated — simple to build with and "always on" — but every new agent still needs a custom chat UI, auth and RBAC. He built Melony (melony.dev) to solve this, offering a ready-made frontend and team access layer for Managed Agents, free for up to 3 teammates.
Notably, the whole product — Vite/React frontend, Hono API server, Firebase deployment, tests, GitHub CI/CD pipelines, even Firestore security rules — was built almost entirely by Claude, which first replicated the UI/style of another app and then generated the rest step by step.
