A modder released NPCTalk, an open-source project that makes any game's NPCs talk in real time: every NPC in GTA V answers in character, in its own cloned voice, in under 1 second — and acts on what you say.
The stack is fully open models packaged into a single repo: NVIDIA Nemotron ASR for transcription, Qwen 3.8 27B for real-time dialogue, and Fish Audio Drama 3 for cloned voices, self-hosted on a serverless GPU, with Claude-learned skills bundled in.
