Scrapling v0.5 lets AI agents auto-solve hCaptcha, reCAPTCHA, Turnstile and more
VeryWellVersed · x · 2026-10-18
The open-source Python scraping framework Scrapling shipped v0.5, demonstrating Codex using its MCP server to solve hCaptcha, reCAPTCHA, Friendly Captcha, Cloudflare Turnstile, and AWS CAPTCHA automatically — prompting jokes that paid CAPTCHA-solving services like 2captcha are obsolete.
The update gives AI agents full browser automation via an MCP server and Agent Skill: opening pages, inspecting elements, clicking, typing, running JavaScript, taking screenshots, and reading network requests/responses — all chainable in one call while mimicking human behavior to save tokens.
The framework also bundles fast HTTP requests, stealth browsers, Cloudflare interstitial handling, persistent sessions, proxy rotation, concurrent spiders, adaptive element tracking, and clean Markdown output, covering the whole scraping workflow from a single page to a full site as AI-ready data.
