qwen-code Web Shell PR preserves slash-command highlighting in submitted user messages
Lilian0122 · ghdev · 2026-10-14
A qwen-code Web Shell PR fixes a UI detail: slash tokens like /a2ui render blue and bold in the composer but turn into plain text after submission. The change preserves the same highlighting in user messages, including reopened conversations, while keeping original text, clickable URLs and reference chips intact.
Host-parsed text fragments are merged before highlighting, so a command like /review split across fragments doesn't lose styling. Highlighting stays a syntax cue matching the composer, not a claim that a command exists or executed.
Validation: 78 focused message/link tests passed (new assertions failed before the fix); on Node 22, all 11,649 Web Shell tests passed across the full package run. The author also documented that npm run preflight failures under default Node 25.8.2 reproduce on unmodified upstream, i.e. an environment issue.
