American filmmaker Jeff Synthesized won the $2.5M grand prize at the Future Vision XPRIZE in Los Angeles for "The Gifted", a sci-fi film made with invideo's Agent Two. The story follows a boy who rebuilds his dead mother with AI, and she ends up caring for his whole town. The prize comes as a $2.5M equity investment to develop it into a full-length feature — a notable sum for an AI-made film.
