Claude Code remote access design self-defeats: a remote session can enable it for you
accidiew · reddit · 2026-10-18
A Reddit user flags a contradictory design in Claude Code: remote access must be enabled locally for security, with no remote toggle in the mobile app UI — yet you can just start a new remote Claude Code session and ask it to enable remote access for any project you forgot to open. The author argues the result is neither secure nor convenient: if it can be done remotely, why not show all projects right away?
