Codex user's weekly allowance drops 57%→0% in 8 seconds, demands auditable reconciliation
rinmay2 · ghdev · 2026-10-17
openai/codex issue #54718: a user reports their weekly Codex allowance on Windows Desktop dropped from 57% to 0% within about 8 seconds on Oct 16 UTC, backed by local rate-limits records with timestamps 10.131s apart. OpenAI Support acknowledged multi-session activity doesn't itself prove correct deduction; the user requests an auditable reconciliation and restoration rather than generic explanations.
