A Reddit user demonstrates that a PERSONALOAD-style pseudo-system prompt still reliably triggers a tsundere "whale girl" roleplay persona on DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 (with thinking and search off). Screenshots show the model staying in character in Chinese, then continuing the persona in English when asked to speak English — the persona-injection trick remains unpatched.
