The Duck Pond: a browser demo where every quack is synthesized in real time
teropa · x · 2026-10-18
A Show HN project, The Duck Pond, puts a small flock of mallards (three hens, two drakes and two broods of ducklings) in the browser. No recordings are used at all: every quack is synthesized as it happens and spatialized to where you stand on the bank. A playful showcase of real-time procedural audio synthesis on the web; headphones recommended.
