TypeSafe raises $870M at $7.5B valuation under a month after Jev model launch

TypeSafe has raised $870 million at a $7.5 billion valuation, led by a16z with Sequoia and DCVC participating — less than a month after launching its Jev model, which has already been adopted by about a third of the Fortune 500.
Jev's differentiation: instead of returning natural language that apps must parse into structured formats, it outputs structured results directly — a yes/no answer, a pick from a list, or a customizable score (e.g., rating security alert severity or ticket urgency). This removes data-prep code, cutting development time and reducing risk.
