A Show HN launch of Things to Do API: an API + MCP server aggregating local one-off events (pop-ups, concerts) in the SF Bay Area, built because the author couldn't find a unified data source for recommendation apps. Methodology: find influential posters and fan-out across what they co-post. One-line Claude MCP setup (claude mcp add), more cities planned.
