exe.dev ships API/CLI explorer for its 1-second VM platform
davidcrawshaw · x · 2026-10-18
exe.dev published an API/CLI explorer docs page with a sandboxed emulator covering every HTTPS API endpoint: minting bearer tokens, listing/creating VMs (booted in about a second), cloning disks, resizing cores/memory, tagging, sparkline metrics, and making VMs public.
The author notes that exe pools automatically shunt idle VMs out of your resources, so pooling isn't primarily for cost management — it's about guaranteeing a VM is in an exact state when you return, or using it as a snapshot.
