Developer itsgkram launched itsTypo, a system-wide autocorrect for macOS that fixes typos and shorthand as you finish each word (mdae → made, wiht → with, lvoe → love) and leaves words alone when unsure.
Key details: fully on-device and offline, nothing typed leaves the Mac; free; requires macOS 14+, Apple Silicon, and Accessibility permission; MIT-licensed with the repo going public at first release. The developer notes it was built with Claude Code as a pair programmer.
