satnam6502 · x · 2026-10-18
A photo of classic CS textbooks — including Ian Sommerville's Software Engineering (5th edition) — pulled out during a garage clear-out, with the poster quipping that they "have not aged well." The image reads as a metaphor for how traditional software engineering knowledge is being devalued in the AI era.
