An indie developer with 11 years of client work built an MCP-connected testimonial pipeline: customers record a 35-second WhatsApp voice note via a link, and Claude can search transcripts, pick quotes for pages, open collection requests, and read play/view analytics to see where requests stall. Permissions are user-chosen (read-only or read-write) at connection, and there is deliberately no delete tool. He argues this beats a dashboard: one sentence gets an answer grounded in real playback data.
