Editmamei Connect is a remote MCP server that lets Claude edit photos traditionally — layers, masks, curves — instead of regenerating them, usable from any Claude app via a custom connector. Claude picks tools, checks a preview between steps, and returns JPEG or layered PSD; it can also lay out Instagram stories and cut product-shot backgrounds. The demo video captures Claude catching its own mistake: darkening the sky by pulling down blues turned a grey lava field into blotchy bands, so it reverted and used an AI sky mask instead. Built with Claude Code, hosted entirely on Cloudflare (Durable Objects, R2, per-user containers) so concurrent users don't compete for resources; Opus 5.5 even builds its promo videos.
