Anthropic: Claude designs quantum circuits an order of magnitude better than published ones

Anthropic's STEM Fellows Program reports that Claude Mythos 5, given plain-language instructions, designed quantum circuits improving on the best published ones — sometimes by an order of magnitude or more. More efficient circuits cut the resources quantum algorithms need, bringing chemistry and materials science applications closer.
