Open-source .char format now supports up to 4 consistent characters per generation
ashishsanu · reddit · 2026-10-17
The OmniChar project extends its portable consistent-character format (.char) to multi-character generation: up to 4 face/clothing-consistent characters in one image or video. Three open workflows are provided — encoding .char (MMH3 & Flux), multi-.char video via MiniMax H3, and multi-character images via Flux Klein 9B/4B. The GitHub repo and ComfyUI node are open source; ComfyUI multi-character support is the next milestone.
