Dev uses Claude to demake Rust/Bevy auto-battler into native N64 and GBA ROMs with near-zero iteration

A developer vibe-coding an auto-battler with Claude asked it to "demake" the Rust/Bevy game into native Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance ROMs. A few hours and a few hundred thousand tokens later, both retro versions ran almost out of the box with little to no iteration.
Key points:
- All three versions (browser/desktop, GBA, N64) share the exact same core Rust rules crate; the simulation is 100% deterministic, with identical battles running on GBA and N64
- The game is playable free at autobattle.txcb.io, and the ROMs are downloadable for free
- Technical details are published on the site's how-it's-made page
A striking demo of AI coding tools handling constrained retro-hardware programming, aided by a shared deterministic core architecture.
