Cloudflare open-sources Pipecat voice agent on Python Workers with WebRTC
ritakozlov · x · 2026-10-17
- Cloudflare published an experimental open-source example, pipecat-voice-agent, running a Pipecat voice agent on Cloudflare Workers' Python runtime, with WebRTC transport via Cloudflare Realtime SFU.
- The React 19 + Tailwind CSS 4 frontend lets users interrupt the agent mid-speech; the agent remembers facts shared during the call, and settings expose its name, voice, and instructions.
- Built-in tools cover current time, weather and forecasts, Cloudflare docs lookup, public service status and more. Full source, design docs, tests, and deployment configs are in the cloudflare/realtime-examples repo.
