A user reports the AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700, bought for about €1,500 two months ago, now costs €2,500-2,800—a jump of over €1,000—coinciding with NVIDIA discontinuing the RTX 5090, suggesting substitute demand for AI-capable GPUs is driving up AMD pricing.
