AI crypto-trading bot claims debunked: bet math doesn't add up, no wallet address ever posted
prescott · x · 2026-10-17
prescott posted a thread debunking two accounts claiming overnight riches via AI (Grok/Claude) trading bots on Telegram:
- Math doesn't add up: posts claim the bot bets "half the stack" each time, which would be $193/$420/$1,137, but the posted bets are $251/$598/$1,448.
- Copyfomo cross-promotion: the two accounts shill the same coins (RAM, PsyopAnime, NIHILISM, BUBBLE, FTR) on different "days" and quote each other's "setup guide" articles — one signs off "grok mirrors" yet ends with "bookmark this setup with Claude."
- Zero on-chain proof: neither has posted a wallet address or a single transaction hash, which would take ten seconds to settle.
His warning: handing an unattended Telegram bot your wallet because a stranger's chart went vertical doesn't make you a trader — it makes you their exit liquidity. Treat these posts as ads.
