Analyst tphuang praises DeepSeek's 4-month streak of frequent releases, arguing it has reset the AI baseline especially in China: with DS Flash matching flagship models a third of the time, slower 3-month cycles from Zai and Moonshot can't sustain premium pricing. A screenshot of the DeepSeek-V4 paper shows V4 Pro previewing 1.6T total/39B activated params, V4-Flash at 284B/13B, and hybrid sparse attention enabling 1M-token contexts for long-horizon RL scaling.
