Google Research details three projects grounding AI agents in autonomous wet labs
Dr_Singularity · x · 2026-10-17
This links Google Research's post "Grounding AI agents in biological reality," the same work as the repost above: Google plugged AI agents into wet-lab robotics for fast closed-loop molecular design, ultimately discovering single-digit nanomolar protein binders for cancer targets.
The post identifies unreliable 3D-geometry and physical-state reasoning in frontier models as the core challenge for automating liquid-handling robots, and links three papers: VERID, Agentic aptamer sandbox, and Epitope excision.
