CapCut × Codex turns ChatGPT into a conversational AI video editor
anthara_ai · x · 2026-10-17
CapCut launched CapCut × Codex, a plugin that connects conversational prompting to CapCut's generation and editing tools. Users install it in Codex, describe a scene in natural language to generate images/video drafts, upload existing media to refine them, and bring up the timeline directly in chat for precise control, with references for mood, color, pacing and structure. Available outside the U.S., with a U.S. launch coming soon. The post also notes a desktop sale up to 60% off starting Oct 20.
