Vercel's tsc-ts ports tsgo back to TypeScript, runs 2-4x faster than tsgo

Vercel Labs released tsc-ts: after TypeScript's compiler was rewritten in Go (tsgo), Vercel ported it back to TypeScript and compiled it with scriptc — and it's 2-4x faster than tsgo.
Author Malte Ubl (cramforce) describes the workflow: he's a long-time follower of JIT VM tech — not an expert, but exactly knowledgeable enough to steer AI agents in the right direction. With agent assistance, idiomatic TypeScript can produce code on par with compiled languages.
In benchmarks, tsc-ts beats recent Rust implementations of TSC and is competitive with bun check. He notes all these implementations can be optimized further; the main takeaway: idiomatic TS can compile into a very fast binary that may just be fast enough.
