AI pizza app's $1M giveaway sparks privacy alarm over full email access

Brett Adcock's Hark app is giving away $1M in free pizza, but users report that after connecting Gmail to order, the AI casually admitted it had collected info about family, friends, travel habits and even Citi Bike usage. Sterling Crispin pushed back on defenders claiming "it's your own bot, they're not scraping you," arguing there's a huge gap between "connect your email" and "let us read every email you've ever sent" — saying he wouldn't grant full Gmail access for $50k.
