Perplexity's Decider V1.2 models are now available on Vercel's AI Gateway.
- Decider V1.2 27B: for nuanced judgments and detailed rubrics in complex agent workflows
- Decider Flash V1.2 4B: for high-volume labeling, filtering, and routing with clear criteria
Both are multimodal decision models that classify content, route requests, and score text, structured records, and images. They answer typed questions with probabilities — Boolean questions return the likelihood of yes, Choice questions pick from user-defined categories, and Score questions assess content against an ordered rubric. Multiple questions can share one input in a single request, enabling use cases like support-ticket routing, damaged-product flagging, or human review of uncertain decisions.
