N8Vision: open-source image browser for managing 50k+ AI-generated images
Consistent_Help2177 · reddit · 2026-10-17
A developer released N8Vision, a free, MIT-licensed Windows image viewer and library manager built while organizing his own collection of 50,000+ AI-generated images.
- Scrolling grid browsing with metadata inspection; moved/deleted cards leave visible markers so sorting never loses your place; optional mobile interface.
- Optional vision tools: detection, quality inspection, embeddings, similarity search, SAM masking, ComfyUI integration.
- Subject workflow: BiRefNet foreground separation, user-drawn hints for overlapping subjects, PartGLEE/LangHOPS reconstruction, and draft labeling via ComfyUI LLM workflows.
- Learn Subject: confirmed labels become teaching examples for a local recognizer trained on frozen CLIP features; automatic predictions never self-train.
Ships in Lite / Blurred / Full profiles; some backends need NVIDIA CUDA or gated model access. Python 3.14 required; alpha available on GitHub.
