Muxin: open-source desktop app to run AI coding agents across all your machines
sull · x · 2026-10-17
Muxin is a free, open-source native desktop app (Rust + GPUI; macOS/Linux/Windows, Intel and Arm) that puts all your machines — Macs, Linux servers, Windows PCs, cloud boxes — in one window, built for you and your AI agents. It reuses your ssh keys and config, no account needed.
- Agent sessions: run Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Amp or a plain shell on any machine; sessions persist on the machine, with split terminals and a view of which agents are working or waiting.
- Change to PR: each session shows branch, changed lines, and the PR with checks; one click to commit, open a PR, self-review or fix comments; per-agent git worktrees enable parallel work on one repo.
- Desktops & ports: live screen view with mouse/keyboard takeover (720p–4K, virtual monitors on Mac/Linux), and localhost forwarding of web apps without exposing ports to the network.
- Plus cross-machine file/clipboard transfer. Install: brew install --cask lumarylabsllc/tap/muxin.
