Perplexity quietly retires GLM 5.3, user still used it two minutes earlier
ChrisUniverse · x · 2026-10-17
A user noticed that GLM 5.3 has been marked as "retired" on Perplexity — minutes after successfully using it for prompts. The UI now shows "GLM 5.3 (retired)" as the session orchestrator, which can't be changed for follow-ups. The poster speculates this may signal an incoming GLM 5.3 Flash or 5.5 release; no official confirmation yet.
