NVIDIA Launches Fastino Training API: Pay Per Token for SFT and RL
NVIDIAAI · x · 2026-10-17
NVIDIA shared georgeonx's announcement of the Fastino Training API for supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning, with day-zero support for Nemotron 3.5 Super VL and Nemotron 3.5 Lightning.
Highlights:
- Write your own SFT/RL loops in Python; supports importance sampling, PPO, CISPO, DRO
- Grouped sampling with token log probabilities; save/resume adapter and optimizer checkpoints
- No GPU provisioning or separate training/generation systems needed
- Pay per token processed instead of per GPU hour; claimed 25%–85% cheaper than Tinker's published pricing
