OpenAI demos 'dots': engineer triages 3am on-call incident via Codex from his phone
OpenAI · youtube · 2026-10-17
OpenAI released a demo of dots, a new feature: engineer Ali used his dot to investigate a 3am on-call incident. The dot probed the issue and spun up a Codex thread, letting him steer the fix entirely from the ChatGPT app on his phone.
The demo highlights OpenAI's push to connect coding agents with mobile workflows—engineers can delegate incident triage to an agent and stay in control without a laptop.
