Solo dev builds Waifu Weather iPhone app with Claude Opus and Sonnet, opens TestFlight beta

A solo developer built Waifu Weather, an iPhone app where an animated anime character talks you through forecasts and helps plan around weather. Opus 5.5 designed the 3D model via Blender MCP and built the character renderer; Sonnet 5.5, with well-scoped prompts specifying architectures, built most of the UI/UX, briefing and event-planning systems, and the REST API backend. Free US TestFlight beta, limited to 50 testers due to compute constraints.
