Claude Code v2.1.302 adds configurable auto-mode classifier model and fixes cache, image-loading bugs

Claude Code v2.1.302 is out with notable changes:
- New CLAUDECODEAUTOMODEMODEL env var to pick the model used by the client-side auto mode classifier (server-side auto mode unchanged)
- An Idle compaction toggle in /config, letting users turn idle compaction off or back on
- Notice that standalone Claude Design (claude.ai/design) closes December 14, 2026
- Multiple fixes: "Prompt is too long" error when stopping a turn mid-compaction, request failures after switching to Vertex/Bedrock mid-session, oversized image sources (>128 MB) being loaded fully into memory, prompt cache misses for mid-session tools, PowerShell plugin bin/ path issues, plugin marketplace re-cloning with reftable format, and more
