OpenAI upgrades GPT-6 Astra Pro with parallel multi-agent task execution for Pro users

OpenAI announced an upgrade to GPT-6 Astra Pro in ChatGPT: faster responses and improved plugin/tool usage.
The headline change is parallel multi-agent execution — multiple agents can now tackle different parts of a task simultaneously, with per-agent progress tracking and the ability to open completed tasks to review their work. Available now to Pro users in the Chat tab.
