Claude Opus 5.5 builds an explorable 3D watermill world with sound, code open-sourced
techartist_ · x · 2026-10-17
Developer techartist used Claude Opus 5.5 to generate a beautiful, explorable 3D nature world, with all sound effects also created by Claude; the MIT-licensed code is open source. A follow-up shares the GitHub repo (ashcombe-mill) and live demo: an explorable English watermill complete with an x-ray view of the gears driving its millstones. The author notes it still needs performance optimization and will lag on weaker devices.
